The distance between us and the city center is about 5 km, which can be covered by car in about 15 minutes. The driving time is dependant on the traffic, in the afternoons you may encouter some traffic jams.

The public transport is working from 6 am to midnight (it is also dependant on the particular line).

The price of a ticket for an adult is 1,6 EUR, if you buy it from the bus driver, and for a student 0,80 EUR; if you are buying the ticket beforehand (for example from R-Kiosk which is a small kiosk that you can recognize by it being yellow), the price for an adult is 1 EUR and for a student 0,50 EUR. The ticket with a discount is only valid if you have the document that proves your right to have the discount (for example, for students ISIC card is that kind of document).

If you are coming from the bus station...

Walk to the tram station called "Autobussijaam" and take the tram no 2 (line Ülemiste-Kopli) or tram no 4 (line Ülemiste-Tondi). Get off at the 3rd stop called "Hobujaama". Walk across the road to infront of Viru center and around the corner from the left side (on the corner there are stairs and a lady's statue) until on your left there will be a crossing path with traffic lights. across the road there is a trolley stop (the street name is Kaubamaja) called "Kaubamaja". Take trolley no 3 from there. Get off at the 13th stop called "Keemia" (it should take about 20-30 minutes to reach "Keemia"). Cross the road from the stop and walk right along a small pedestrian path that goes parallel with the street. The house that is in front of you and has apples on the curtains, is Academic Hostel. There are also flags with our logo in front of our house.

If you come from the port (terminals A, B and D)...

Take the bus no 2 and ride 2 stops (if you're coming from the terminal A or B) or 1 stop (if you're coming from the terminal D) and get off at the stop called "A.Laikmaa"). Walk a little bit further from the stop (to the direction you see the bus going to) and go around the corner of Viru center (on the corner there are stairs and a lady's statue).  If you come from the airport...

From in front of the airport (the bus stop there is called "Lennujaam" take the bus no 2 (line Mõigu-Reisisadam). Get off at the 5th stop called "A.Laikmaa". Walk across the road to in front of Viru center and go around the corner of Viru center (on the corner there are stairs and lady's statue). Go until on the left there is a crossing path with traffic lights. Across the road there is a trolley stop (the street name is Kaubamaja) called "Kaubamaja". Take trolley no 3 from there.  If you come from the center and the Old Town...

Next to shopping centre Kaubamaja, across the road from the Viru center there is a trolley stop (the street name is Kaubamaja) called "Kaubamaja". Take trolley no 3 from there.
