Construction and Civil Engineering is important sector for securing welfare of people and development in industrial, agricultural and the most relevant sectors of the Estonian national economy. The study field of construction engineering is one of the most extensive study fields at Tallinn University of Technology as a whole. Therefore the professional requirements must be relatively rigorous.
All chairs of our department deal with the core and special studies of construction engineering and are responsible for the fulfilment of civil engineering curricula. The fields of study include building materials, construction technology, and courses related to construction economy, construction management, construction administration, facilities management etc.
Our graduates after 5 years studies have profound knowledge as about structural engineering as construction management. They are prepared to use facilities of information technology and have also some experience for paper work.
