Chemical and Environmental Technology
Main aim of the curricula is to ensure the chemical industry and related branches (building materials production, pulp and paper industry, food processing, metal industry, etc) and research institution with specialists who are qualified to occupy whatever positions at the premises of knowledge in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, process selection and technological aspects.
Outcomes of the curriculum:
- knowledge, skills and attitude required for employment as a specialist in chemical and environmental technology; be able to continue studies at second cycle degree (MSc level)
- knowledge in relevant literature and handbooks; ability to find out essential information (data) independently and consider it critically and creatively
- systematic understanding of the principles, concept, actual problems, existing schools and tendencies in development concerning the area of expertise, is familiar with its interaction with other fields of science and engineering
- ability to utilise the fundamentals of chemical and environmental engineering: composing of energy and material balances, equilibrium and kinetics of heat and mass transfer, etc, for sustainability of technology
- ability to compose and give informative presentations and participate in discussions on chemical/environmental engineering topics in Estonian and a foreign language
- active in the team-work; experienced in communication and managing within the team

Food Engineering and Product Development
Main aim of the curricula is to provide general and speciality knowledge in the field of food engineering and product development.
Outcomes of the curriculum:
- knowledge, skills and attitude required for employment as a specialist in food engineering and product development also ability to continue studies at second cycle degree (Master´s level)
- knowledge of relevant literature and handbooks- ability to find out essential information (data) independently and analyse and apply it critically and creatively
- systematic understanding of the principles, concept, actual problems, existing schools and tendencies in development concerning the area of expertise
- ability to utilise the fundamentals of food engineering: composing of raw material, its processing tools, etc, for sustainability of food processing
- ability to compose and give informative presentations and participate in discussions on food engineering and product development topics in Estonian and foreign languages,
- to be active in the team-work,experienced in communication and managing within a team

Technology of Materials
Main aim of the curricula is to supply the industry of materials processing with specialists with bachelor degree who are able to work on professions which presume a knowing the properties of materials, a skill in choice of materials and mastering with general problems of processing engineering.
Outcomes of the curriculum:
- comprehensive understanding about principles of material science, actual problems, trends of development and role of special materials in general system
- sufficient competency to formulate problems in the field, offer and estimate the solutions
- graduated student can in Estonian and in one foreign language orally or in written form explain the problems of material science, and participate actively and successfully in special discussions
- graduated student is liable and experienced to work in a team and has a skill in communication and management for successful manufacture and development activity
- graduated student is active in team work, is able to carry responsibility and is prone to continual self-improvement
