Dear visiting students,
The Learning Agreement is the most important document during your studies at Tallinn University of Technology. Please choose your courses carefully, based on your present study programme and the agreement between our universities.
Approximateley 70% of your course selections should match with your study level and major at home university.
NB! Many Master courses are offered on weekends and in the evenings .
A normal workload is 30 ECTS per semester, the minimum amount of courses we accept is 15 ECTS per semester. 1 ECTS=26 hours workload. 1 hour=45 min.
Be aware of the fact that your level of English must be at least B2. English is your tool to new knowledge and friends. If you don't have the tool, you will fail.

Course list for Autumn Semester 2017 will be available in the middle of April 2017. We do not have it now, therefore we can't send it to you even you write us e-mails.
When you are choosing the courses, please notice that the courses ending with an exam give you a grade. Courses ending with passed/failed assessment, don't give you a grade. Please do not choose these courses when your home university doesn't accept it. Description of TUT's grading system is here.
The list of courses may change by the beginning of the semester due to unforeseen circumstances, therefore, please choose more courses than less. It's allowed make changes in your Learning Agreement once you have arrived. Timetables will be available approximately one month before the semester starts.

- As an exchange student, you cannot defend your final thesis at Tallinn University of Technology. The student can work on different projects at TUT only when the student finds a supervisor by him/herself and it will be confirmed by May 15th or November 15th at the latest. Therefore, please start searching for the professors quite early. With contacting professors, please present your English Certificate at the minimum of B2 level, a transcript of records and a motivation letter. Once you have received a confirmation from the professor, you will be allowed to fill out the application.
