Dear exchange students,
Learning Agreement is the most important document during your studies at Tallinn University of Technology. Please choose your courses carefully, based on your present study programme and the agreement between our universities.
Approximateley 80% of your course selections should match with your study level and major at home university.
NB! Quite many Master courses are offered at weekends and in the evenings .
Normal workoload is 30 ECTS per semester, the minimum amount of courses we accept is 15 ECTS per semester.
Be aware of the fact that your level of English must be at least B2. English is your tool to new knowledge and friends. If you don't have the tool, you fail.

When you are choosing the courses, please notice that the courses ending with an exam give you the grade. Courses ending with passed/failed assessment, don't give you a grade. Please do not choose these courses when your home university doesn't accept it. Description of TUT's grading system is here.
The list of courses may change by the beginning of the semester due to unforeseen circumstanses, therefore, please choose rather more courses than less. It's allowed make changes in your Learning Agreement once you have arrived, because timetables will be also available approximately one month before the semester starts.
The Spring Semester 2017 course list will be updated around 15th of October 2016.

- As an exchange student, you can not defend your final thesis at Tallinn University of Technology. The student can write different projects at TUT only in case the student finds a supervisor by him/herslef and it will be confirmed by May 15th or November 15th the latest. Therefore, please start searching for the professors quite early. Contacting Professors, please present your English Certificate minimum at B2 level, Transcript of Records and Motivation Letter. Once you have received the confirmation you are ready to fill in the application.
