Erasmus+ for Placements
As a TTÜ student, you can apply for an Erasmus+ traineeship grant.
Students can do a traineeship in a workplace abroad lasting from 2 to 6 months, if coordinated with the faculty. One student can study and do an internship abroad with Erasmus+ scholarship in one study level altogether maximum 12 months.
The student must apply one month before the internship starts.
Host organisations for student placements may be enterprises, training centers, research centers and other organisations including higher education institutions in one of the 32 participating European countries.
Excluded are European Union institutions and other EU bodies, organisations that manage EU programmes (such as national offices and international secretariats at higher education institutions).
Recent higher education graduates can also do a traineeship abroad within one year of graduation. But plan ahead! You must apply during your last semester while you're still registered as a student at TTÜ, at least 4 weeks before defending your thesis!
Students may be awarded an Erasmus+ grant to help cover the travel and subsistence costs (including insurance costs) incurred in connection with their placement period abroad. Students may get a financial contribution or a contribution in kind by the host enterprise/organisation.
