April 29 - May 2, 2019, Leuven, Belgium, Workshop on Recent Advances in Cellular Technologies and 5G for IoT Environments (RACT-5G-IoT 2019)
This international workshop invites researchers and practitioners to submit papers that deal with novel ideas, research results, practical implementations and early deployments addressing the numerous scientific and technological challenges in cellular technologies and 5G for IoT environments.
Addressing such challenges in essential for making a wide range of applications a reality, including smart cities and nations, smart health and wearable wireless networks, public safety, emergency response, humanitarian technologies, industrial IoT, etc.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to,
- Resource allocation and interference management in IoT
- Energy efficient solutions for IoT networks
- MAC protocols for future IoT networks
- Green communication for IoT networks
- D2D communication within IoT networks
- Machine learning and analytics for IoT networks
- Mixed licensed, unlicensed, and shared spectrum systems for IoT networks
- Self-aware and self-adaptive network system and design for IoT networks
- Algorithms, architectures and implementation for smart sensing (data sensing) and edge computing in IoT
- Prototyping and deployment experience
All papers accepted for workshops will be included in the ANT 2019 proceedings, which will be published in Procedia Computer Science, Elsevier (indexed in Conference Proceedings Citation Index (Clarivate) and Scopus (Elsevier)).
The number of pages for workshop papers is limited to 8 pages.
