APPLIED HIGHER EDUCATION
Applied Information Technology
Applied Information Technology joins informatics and computer knowledge. Students are taught to develop software using modern means of programming, to create and administrate data bases, to design and administrate computer networks, to program network applications. Specialization in telematics and programming is available.
The following subjects are taught for specialists preparation: constructional graphics, construction materials, architecture, geodesy, heating, ventilation and water supply systems, structures, construction technologies.To develop managerial and entrepreneur skills the following disciplines are studied: economics of conctruction, construction management, construction estimate, economics of property.
Professional knowledge, experiences and skills students acquire in the frames of special disciplines: fuel chemistry and technology, oil shale chemistry and technology, fuel industry processes and equipment, motor fuels and lubricants, renewable fuels, sustainable technologies.
Professional knowledge, experiences and skills students acquire in the frames of special disciplines: programming of controllers, automation systems design, processes management, robotics, pneumo-hydroautomatics, visualization and monitoring of processes.
Machine Building Engineering
When preparing the specialists in the field of Mechanical Engineering the main emphasis is placed on the special modules: applied engineering, product development and technology. Professional knowledge include: integrated development of technologies, the main principles of operational reliability
of industrial equipment, design of hoisting-and-hauling machines and their elements.
Curriculum includes a series of special courses: possibilities of electric and heat power generation from oil shale, energy supply from a producer to a consumer, technological processes in electric and heat units, power plants maintenance arrangement. To develop entrepreneur skills such subjects as economics of power engineering, power engineering management, power engineering innovations are studied.
Fuels Chemistry and Engineering
To prepare highly skilled specialists the following subjects are taught in the magistrates: special course of organic chemistry, fuels classification and standardization, fuel industry processes and their management, selected chapters from the course of processes and equipment of fuels processing and production , material and heat balances of the processes, design of chemical-technological processes.
