"Interdisciplinary Cyber Research 2017” workshop
On July 8, there is “Interdisciplinary Cyber Research 2017” workshop (ICR2017) at Tallinn University of Technology.
The seminar is organised for the third year in a row by the Tallinn University of Technology Centre for Digital Forensics and Cyber Security together with StudyITin.ee.
ICR2017 brings together young as well as established scholars undertaking research in disciplines related to information and communication technologies. The agenda features researchers from all over the world working in the domains of computer sciences, political and social sciences, and law.
Last two years have been a great success with workshops boasting each year around 25 speakers from 10 countries, together with close to hundred workshop participants.
This year’s opening keynotes will be made by Lauri Almann, the Former Permanent Secretary of the Estonian Ministry of Defense, who will deliver a presentation on ‘“The Triangle of Impossibility”: Strategic Decision-Making and Cyber Security’ and Ralph Echemendia, a well-known cyber security guru, also known as “The Ethical Hacker”, who will speak on “The Truth about Hacking. From Russia to Hollywood.”
