Japanese delegations in Mektory
During the first few weeks of June four meetings with Japanese delegations took place in Mektory.
On June 3rd, the Editor in Chief of WIRED Japan and representatives from the biggest advertising company in Japan – Dentsu visited Mektory.
On June 7th, the professors and scientists from TUT met with the professor from the University of Tsukuba to find common ground for cooperation and learn from each other’s experiences so far.
On June 10th we hosted a delegation of Japanese entrepreneurs and representatives from different universities. On of the key focuses was on the Estonian start-up system and what we do in that regard in Mektory. Also one of the start up companies in Mektory, Lainergy, talked about their activity and further plans.
On the same day professor Satoru Myojin from the Hokkaido Information University met with Professor Dirk Draheim and Associate Professor Alex Norta from the Department of Informatics, Anu Oks from Mektory and Professor Toomas Paalme from the Department of Food Processing to discuss the Ebetsu model and how it can be implemented in Estonia.
All the delegations also had a house tour and marked their stay on the visitors’ wall.
