OSCC presentation at Oil Shale Conference in Jordan
The representatives of Oil Shale Competence Center (OSCC) participate at the Second International Oil Shale Conference, October 9-11, 2018 at Al-Balqa Applied University-BAU in Jordan.
The Senior Researcher Hella Riisalu, PhD makes presentation „The study of the components impacts by co-pyrolysis of the oil shale and some plastics“ in a technical session. The Head of Fuels Technology Research-Testing Laboratory of OSCC Olga Pihl, MSc makes two poster-presentations „Quantitative estimate of chromatograms when determining sulfurous compounds in gasoline fractions of shale oil and oil obtained from worn tires“ and „Influence of the quantity of undecomposed carbonates on the result of oil shales gross calorific value determination and net calorific value calculation". The Junior Researcher of the laboratory Mihhail Fomitšov, MSc makes the poster-presentation „The Possibility of Extraction of Oil Shale Organic Material during Bitumen Generation Stage“.
The Conference in Jordan reviews development and researches worldwide progress achieved within the last two years. Participants will have a closer look on oil shale ongoing projects in Jordan.
