The winners of the Corporate Finance Olympiad have been determined
Corporate Finance Olympiad organized by PwC, Swedbank and Tallinn School of Economics and Business Administration took place on 16 February 2013. This time the Olympiad was unexpectedly international as in addition to bachelor and master students from Tallinn University of Technology, University of Tarty and EBS the participants also came from SSE Riga, University of Helsinki, Vilnius University and Kaunas University of Technology.
The 16-year history of the Olympiad has witnessed the success of SSE Riga students and this trend continued: the first was a bachelor student Andrius Oleinikovas from SSE Riga who obtained almost 80 points from the maximum of 100, the second was Lukas Vaičiulis a bachelor student from Vilnius University and the third was the best-performing female participant a second-year bachelor student Anu Kalmurand from SSE Riga.
The fourth position was occupied by Mattias Lagerspetz from the University of Helsinki and the fifth was Aleksei Fimaier a master student from Tallinn University of Technology.
The TOP3 participants will receive a prize of 500, 300 and 200 EUR respectively. These prizes will be handed over by PwC and Swedbank at Pärnu Finance Conference 18-19 April 2013. Pärnu Konverentsid offers free passes to the conference for the TOP3 participants.
