We are pleased to see them submitted in a variety of fields, including technology, exact and natural sciences, social sciences and health research, which means that every key discipline for our university, as specified in the strategic plan of TUT, has been covered. However, our challenge remains to continue increasing the number of doctoral theses defended in one academic year.”

A bust of Uno Mereste, economist, Member of the Estonian Academy of Sciences, and former Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank, will be opened at 14:00 on the Academicians Alley of TUT.
