A Tallinn King Sejong Institute student has won a high-profile award in Seoul
Ms. Maret Luud, a student of Tallinn King Sejong Institute, has just won “The Most Excellent” award at the World Korean Speech Contest in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.
Competing with representatives of 171 King Sejong Institutes, Maret came up to reach the top-three in the contest, receiving the Korea-wide recognition and plenty of media attention. In addition, Ms. Luud received an additional prize from the Korean Government to study Korean language at a university in Seoul for 6 months, while enjoying full scholarship that includes return flights and other travel expenditure to be covered. Maret has been successfully studying Korean language for two years at Tallinn King Sejong Institute, which was established by the Korean Government and Tallinn University of Technology in 2015.
