International innovation conference brings researchers to TTÜ from all over the world
Ragnar Nurkse Department hosts at the University an international innovation conference Innovation Boot Camp - Innovation, Institutions, and Governance on September 16-19. Doctorates and researchers from all over the world will participate.
The event will start on Saturday, September 16, when Erik Reinert (Norway), visiting professor at TTÜ, will talk about capitalism and innovation. In the second half of the day, a visiting professor Carlota Perenz (Venezuela) will continue with a workshop, unleashing the golden Age of the ICT revolution.
On Sunday, September 17, Dan Breznitz (Canada) will give a presentation on innovation and the state. On September 18, Mary O'Sullivan (Ireland), William Janeway (USA) and TTÜ Professor Wolfgang Drechsler (Germany) will continue with their workshops.
On the last day of the conference, on September 19, e-residency and data analytics in public policy will be discussed.
Performers:
25 abstracts were selected out of 90 to participate in the conference. As of today the registration for the event is closed.
The event is organized and co-funded by the US-based non-profit Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) Young Scholars Initative (YSI), particularly Working Group in Innovation.
