TalTech Cup
The TalTech Cup is an athletic and entertaining event, in which all TalTech students, faculty, employees, and alumni are invited to participate. The Cup is held to bring different people from our university closer together and offer an athletic and relaxing programme.
The tournament is divided into six stages, which will take place throughout the academic year. After each stage, the best team will be awarded the TalTech travelling trophy.
At the end of the academic year, the competition’s general winner – the best team – will be revealed and awarded at the TalTech spring picnic on 1 May 2019.
The grand prix is a trip to the Särghaua campus, including accommodation and a visit to a riverside sauna. Special prizes and consolation awards will also be given for the teams’ level of participation, sense of style, toughness, and engineering brilliance.
Who can participate?
- People from all TalTech faculties, institutes, organisations, and various departments and services may participate.
- Teams may be comprised of students, faculty, university employees, or alumni.
- A participant may only be on one team during the competition.
- Generally, a team will have six members. Additional substitute members are allowed to replace the team’s main members during some events.
- Teams must register separately for each stage.
- Teams are not required to participate in each stage.
