How to digitally sign the contract?
If you wish to sign you contract digitally, please let us know about it via email campus at campusttu dot ee. After we have received your email, we will start preparing your contract for digital signing. We kindly ask you to be patient during the contract extension period as the workload is much bigger and therefore preparations might take more time than usual. When your contract is ready for signing in e-Campus, you will receive an automatic message:
(Example) “Your contract no. 29537 is ready for digital signing in e-Campus system. Please sign the contract by 28.05.2019 the latest.”
For digitally signing the contract, you have to log in to e-Campus system by using your ID-card or residence permit. Before doing so, please make sure you have installed and updated all necessary ID-software to your computer. You can do so from the website www.id.ee. In addition, please make sure that you have allowed digital signing in your web browser (you can check it from menu -> add-ons).
For entering the system, insert your ID-card or residence permit into the ID-card reader. Make sure you have ticked the “I agree” box, otherwise the system will not allow you to sign in. After you have ticked “I agree” box press ID-kaart button and insert PIN1.
After you have logged in select Contracts from the left-hand side menu and you will be shown your contract ID number. Press on the number and e-Campus will open up your contract information. If you need more guidance on how to move about in e-Campus, you can do so here>>
At the bottom of the page you can find a section called “Contract related files”. In this section you can see the DigiDoc file that must be signed. Under the section “Content type and digital signatures” you can see the timestamp and name of the person who prepared your contract for signing. In the section “Sign due date/Signed” you can see by which date you need to sign the contract. For signing the contract you have to press the button “Add signature” and enter your PIN2.
After you have signed the document, you can check it under the section “Content type and digital signatures”. If your signing was successful, your signature will be added to this section in addition to the signature of Student Campus’ worker. There will be also another timestamp in the section “Sign due date/signed”. If you wish to check the documents that you signed, just click on the code in the “Content type” section. DigiDoc envelope will open and you will be able to see the signed documents.
