Erasmus+ for Placements
As a TTÜ student, you can apply for an Erasmus+ traineeship grant.
Students can do a traineeship/internship in a workplace abroad lasting from 2 to 6 months, if coordinated with the faculty. One student can study and do an internship abroad with Erasmus+ scholarship in one study level altogether maximum 12 months.
Application is opened all year long!
Host organisations for student placements may be enterprises, training centers, research centers and other organisations including higher education institutions in one of the 32 participating European countries. Excluded are European Union institutions and other EU bodies, organisations that manage EU programmes (such as national offices and international secretariats at higher education institutions).
Recent higher education graduates can also do a traineeship abroad within one year of graduation. But plan ahead! You must apply during your last semester while you're still registered as a student at TTÜ!
The size of the Erasmus+ grant according to different countries can be seen here. It is allowed to get a financial contribution or a contribution in kind by the host enterprise/organisation simultaneously with the Erasmus+ grant. Scholarship is paid out in two parts: 70% in the beginning and 30% in the very end after presenting all the needed documents.
NB! In case you are doing your internship on the last year before graduation, if you graduate in summer your internship must finish the latest on 15th of May and if you graduate in winter your internship must finish the latest on 15th of December. This leaves you enough time to transfer the ECTS of the internship before graduation!
