Tauno Tuisk appointed as Director for Finances of Tallinn University of Technology
Tauno Tuisk will assume the position of TTÜ Director for Finances on February 12. He will be responsible for strategic planning and management of the University's financial activities in close cooperation with the University's Board of Governors, top management and the Council.
TTÜ Rector Jaak Aaviksoo confirms: "We have made a very good choice with Tauno Tuisk. His current versatile practical experience on the one hand, and orientation to results on the other hand, will surely provide a strong position for the wise accounting and management of the finances needed for TTÜ activities."
Tauno Tuisk graduated with a Master's degree from Tallinn University of Technology. His thesis on the possibilities of reducing the travel expenses of Estonian authorities presented a number of suggestions on how the public sector could use its assets and financial resources more effectively. Tuisk has a long and diverse work experience with the Police and Border Guard Board, where he was a Deputy General Manager of Assets in 2014-2017 and the Head of the Logistics Office for 2011-2013. Before that he worked more than a decade in the private sector as the sales director of Ascar Auto, as the Head of Sale Support of Hansa Leasing, and as a logistics and sales manager at Hadler Group.
